The XX

These days we’re listening to the British group The xx. Great vibe to their music. (Reminds us of AIR, who did The Virgin Suicides soundtrack, and who also collaborated on Charlotte Gainsbourg’s album.)

Bruce Mau Exhibit: Massive Change

We viewed Bruce Mau’s amazing exhibit titled Massive Change at the Art Gallery of Toronto. We like that the designs address global change. What makes this exhibit stand out is its collective focus- visitors were asked to contribute by filling out surveys on their opinions on topics such as genetic modification, artificial hearts and so on. The exhibit catalog is full of inspiration in the fields of urban development, genetics, and surgery, for example. Designs for a fresh new world?
